Breach and disqualification rules
Updated 2026-07-05
Quick answer
Daily drawdown and max drawdown breaches close the account; missing trading days, missing qualifying trades, or consistency issues delay passing or payout but do not by themselves close the account.
- Daily drawdown breach closes the account
- Max drawdown breach closes the account
- Missing minimum trading days does not close the account
- Missing qualifying trades does not close the account
- Consistency above limit holds payout but does not close the account
Worked example — Daily breach on 4% plan
Day-start balance: $1,500 Daily drawdown: 4% = $60 Daily floor: $1,440 Balance settles at $1,439 Result: daily drawdown breach and account closes
Edge cases
- Can support reopen a breached account?
No. Drawdown breaches are irreversible for that account.
- Can I buy a new challenge after failing?
Yes. A failed account does not stop you from purchasing another challenge unless there is a separate account violation.
- Is payout eligibility shown before funding?
Evaluation accounts may show progress checks, but withdrawal is locked until the account is FUNDED.
